Phil Joined The Conseco Group as Senior Project Manager in 2002, bought the company in 2004. He has over 25 years of experience in construction management, engineering, market analysis, site selection and land acquisition. As the President and CEO of The CONSECO Group, Phil is responsible for all development, project and construction management activities for the firm. CONSECO is now a preferred contractor for Chick-Fil-A Corporation.

Prior to acquiring CONSECO, Phil served as Director of Development for McDonald’s Corporation in a five-state region.  During his tenure, the department has completed 275 new McDonald’s, and remodeled over 1000 sites. The department received numerous awards for having the lowest and best cost control in the nation and his team was named the best development team in the nation for McDonald’s. 

He served as an engineer for McCarthy Associates of Florida and for an architectural firm, Campbell Design Group in St Louis where he supervised mechanical, plumbing, civil and structural engineering projects for healthcare facilities, airports and governmental buildings.

Education: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Southern Illinois University
He has completed the Financial Management Course at the Owen School at Vanderbilt University and has received extensive Total Quality Management training through the Covey Institute and Senn Delaney.
